Last week I was given an opportunity to shoot my first Angels game of the year. Having never shot in Angels Stadium before, I was quite excited to go after hearing great things. That afternoon I met up with OCR staff photographer Kevin Sullivan in order to get the lay of the land and to set up a remote on home plate. The game went quite late that night though, which gave me plenty of time to pick Kevin’s brain while sitting from our spot at third.
In the 14th inning Angels’ player Colin Cowgill smacked a walk-off home run to finally end the game. Few fans were left at that point, but their reaction proved that it was worth the wait.
